Foodos India Pvt. Ltd ("we", "us") runs www.foodosindia.com. This page says what we collect, why, who else sees it, and how to have it removed.
What we collect, and when
When you send a distributorship enquiry we store your name, email address, mobile number, city, state, and — if you fill them — your firm's name, pincode, years of experience, the categories you handle, the investment you are considering, whether you have a warehouse, and your message.
When you write to us through Contact Us we store your name, email address, subject and message, and your phone number if you give it.
When you apply for a job we store your name, email address, mobile number, and whatever else you fill in: current city, current and expected salary, experience, qualification, your CV, your covering letter, and any LinkedIn or portfolio link.
When you create an account we store your name, email address, mobile number and a scrambled form of your password. We never store the password itself and cannot read it.
When you place an order we store the delivery address and phone number you give us, and what you ordered.
If you become a distributor we additionally collect what the business relationship requires: GST, FSSAI and Gumasta numbers, godown address, vehicle details, and bank account details for payments. These are visible only to staff whose work needs them, and every look at or change to them is recorded.
Your IP address is stored with a distributorship enquiry and a Contact Us message. It is used for one thing: stopping automated software from flooding the forms. It is not used to identify you or to follow you around.
Which advertisement brought you. If you arrive from an advertisement, the campaign tags in the link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) are stored with your enquiry so we know which advertisement is working. These say nothing about you personally.
What we do NOT do
We run no analytics and no tracking of any kind. No Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no advertising cookies, no session recording. Nothing on this site watches how you browse it.
We never sell your information, and we never rent or trade it.
We do not send marketing messages to people who only enquired, unless they asked us to.
Cookies
One cookie, and only after you sign in. It keeps you signed in and nothing else. It cannot be read by JavaScript, and signing out removes it. There are no advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
Who else sees your information
We use a small number of outside services, and only for the job named:
Our hosting provider — Everything stored on the site, as the place it is stored — The site has to run somewhere
Razorpay — Your name, contact and the amount, when you make a payment — To take the payment. Card details go to them directly and never touch our systems
India Post's public pincode service — The 6-digit pincode you type — To fill in your city and state. This is asked by our server, so your device and IP are not shared with them
YouTube — Only if you press play on a video — The videos on our ceremonies page. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play
Google Fonts — Your browser's request for the typeface — The site's lettering
WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram links open only when you tap them, and then you are on their service under their terms, not ours.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and messages: as long as we are in touch with you about them, and for 3 years afterwards for our records.
Job applications: 12 months, unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
Accounts and orders: for as long as the account exists. Financial records — invoices, payments — are kept for 8 years afterwards, which is what the Income Tax Act and the GST rules require of us.
Your rights
Write to us at the address below and you may ask us to:
tell you what we hold about you
correct anything that is wrong
delete what we hold, except records the law requires us to keep, such as tax invoices
stop contacting you
We will answer within 30 days.
Keeping it safe
Passwords are stored scrambled and cannot be read back. Sensitive numbers such as PAN and bank details are visible only to staff whose work needs them, and every look and every change is recorded with the name of the person who did it. The site is served over an encrypted connection.
No system is perfectly safe, and we will not pretend otherwise. If information is ever exposed, we will tell the people affected and the authorities as the law requires.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18.

Changes
If this page changes we will update the date at the top. Substantial changes will be announced on the site.
